Life always brings unexpected situations
For sure all of us had situations in life which didn’t go all the time according to a plan, unexpected situations. And yes… I’ve been there as well not once, but a lot of times.
After leaving Timișoara, I was so ready to start my countryside life and I was not the only one. Puf, my cat, was also ready for the adventure. Exploring the world changed from watching thought-out a window into having a completely green garden to inspect and discover. In the beginning, I was a little scared to leave it outside, but seeing it so interested in discovering the surroundings, I’ve told myself I have no right to take this from it. Below are some photos which talk on their own.
Puf in the yard Puf in a big tree
In the first week Puf didn’t go too far from the house. Moreover, even if there were times when it did, it always came when I called it until one afternoon when an unexpected situation happened …..The day in the house surrounded by woods and mountains started as any other one, but nobody knew what was about to come.
Around lunch time, as Puf was starring to the front door, I’ve open the door to let her go out. Being busy with work, I couldn’t check where it is and only at 2 PM I went out to see what was it up to, but nothing…. no matter how much I’ve called it, Puf didn’t return.
Have you ever lost your pet? What did you feel in these moments?
In my case, I would say I went thorough different stages: negation, frustration and being hopeless.
In the beginning, I’ve told myself Puf definitely is coming back …. but it become dark and nothing. From being hopeful, I was nearly close to being desperately. In that night, I barely slept and at 5 AM, I was already up and ready to go to search it in the woods as well as the town but nothing…..my grandma said she saw a fox around and, after loosing all the hope, I even thought my cat was eaten by the fox.
These days were really hard…. I’ve cried a lot as I was not ready to put an end to our story. Somehow, it was too soon to have an end.
Once again, I’ve realised life is full of unexpected situations and you should have always have a back-up plan to your back-up plan.
The continuation of Puf’s adventure is going to be in the next post. All the post can be found on the “Explore section” from the site.
Until then, let me know one of your most unexpected situation.
