Unexpected situations in expected environments
If you read my previews post, you should be already aware of losing my pet, Puf. In the beginning, I’ve felt hopeful ending up being lost and completely sure I am not able to see it again as days were passing by. I’ve spent the first three days searching it in all the forests around the house, in the village as well as asking people who were passing by. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any trace.
Telciu, the village where my grandma lives, it is surrounded by forest and mountains (Țibleș Montains & Rodnei Mountains). For sure you are going to understand better once you see the pictures.
After a week
As time was flying, we started to get used to the idea Puf is not returning anymore. Especially after my grandma said there is a fox around and the chances to have it eaten are pretty high. After exact seven days, around 6 AM, my uncle came to our door saying he saw a cat similar to Puf while drinking the morning coffee. I don’t even remember how I got out of the bed and run in to the yard. I was so surprised and happy to see Puf. It was way skinnier, dirty but so happy to see us. Indeed, something unexpected really happened without even imagining it. Life is always like this. A lot of things happen when you expect the less. It happened to me so many times and this one was not an exception.
Back on track & Cat surprise
After eating a lot, taking a bath and sleeping an entire day, Puf was back to its old habits. We were so happy to spend time with it again. Everything was like before, but, after a month, Puf started to gain weight and its belly was getting bigger and bigger. That was the moment when we knew it: it brought a “cat surprise”. There was no doubt Puf Dynasty was around the corner. A lot of feelings were into my head: from excitement to the question of what I am going to do to the new members of the family. This was only the beginning if the big meet-up. I felt really happy as the delivery day was getting closer. Don’t miss the continuation of our story as well as pictures of the new members! All of the details are going to be revealed in the next post.
Did some of you encounter a similar situation? I am really looking forward to hear your stories as well.
