Puf +1

For those you been reading my previous posts, you might be already aware of my pet, Puf, which run away from home during my countryside visit. For the new ones on the blog, please click here for the whole story. Nevertheless, the whole adventure had a happy end. To a second thought, I would say more than a happy end. I would walk you step by step thought it. Let’s see!

Visible changes on Puf

If the first two days for Puf were more about eating and sleeping, starting with the third one things seemed to get slowly back to normal. Its old habits didn’t disappear such as drinking water from the sink or coming to coddle under the blanket. However, it was still Puf, but silently different. Out of sudden it started to eat way more and have a bigger belly as days were passing. I found it a little strange, but I just ignore all the signs of change.

Moment of truth

One evening, when we were playing as usual, I noticed Puf is having a hard time jumping around. This caught my eye knowing how good it usually is. I picked it up and realized its belly is even bigger and it even has its nipples bigger. Only then I’ve realized, Puf was about to have a mini Pufs. The Puf dynasties was about to start. In these moments I was not sure if I should be happy or start to worry. I’ve decided to take things as they are and just enjoy the journey.

Mini Pufs

As days were passing by, the delivery day was getting closer for Puf. It was mid of October and my cat started to act weird during the dinner time like breathing heavily and not moving from its bed. After more than 4 hours of struggling, the first mini Puf arrived. It was so tinny! My heart melted away right away! I’ve waited for more kittens to come, but it was only one.

Puf & Mini

For hours in row, I was so amazed of the mini Puf. I have never knew kittens are born with long nails and they are so precious. To name it was so simple as being tinny, Mini was the perfect name.
