Iceland is one of the most spectacular\ncountries I\u2019ve been in, and I say this as I only had the chance to see the\nsouth part of it. Even so, as I spent most of my time in Reykjavik and the\nsurrounding towns, I can tell that the views that you can see outside of the\ncity and the landscape you get a glimpse of when going on the country roads are\njust breath taking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I\u2019ve got the chance to speak to a lot\nof locals while being there, I was told a lot about the mountain side, the hot\nsprings and natural lagoons that it made me want to come back before I even\nleft. I need to mention that there is a road that goes around the island and\nyou can hire a car or some motorcycles and just go on an adventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for Reykjavik and Hafnarfjordur they\nare very close looking as a typical northern city, very clean and very in\norder. Now, this doesn\u2019t make them at all less welcoming, but the complete\nother way, they are very beautiful places that just make you feel like home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a last thing to mention, be careful and\ninform yourself about the weather, as even in the summer when I\u2019ve been there,\ncan be very cold. I would recommend dressing not in thick clothes necessarily\nas more in layers, you will notice huge changes in the temperature when in the\nsun or the shadow for example. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
