There’s no such thing as too many pairs of earrings

A girl can have her passions, right?

Now, who’s to say if she’s taking it too far? You know, passion/obsession, tomato/tomato… Sounds the same to me.

Anyway, I truly am very passionate about this subject and over the years have gotten a few remarks on why, oh, why do I keep buying earrings. But take it from me, those are words to live by (the ones in the title) and, yes, I AM going to explain why.

The earring is the most complex, but at the same time versatile piece of jewelry there is. I have to admit the necklace is a close second, but still, there are times when it can be a bit harder to match a necklace to an outfit, may it be a statement one, or just a simple choker. The earring, on the other hand… any outfit you have going on, there is an earring to go with it! Going on a nigh out? Take a pair of statement earrings with you. Going on a busy business day? Take a tiny pair of classy pearls to look stunning but also to not bother you throughout the day. Going to school? Take an interesting pair of metallic studs to go with your casual look. Having a lazy day where the only thing you want to wear is a cozy sweater? Put on a pair of cool looking hoops and you’re good to go. And the list goes on.

Speaking of lazy, also, the earrings can be the ones to save you when dealing with a inspiration blockage or you just don’t feel like bothering too much in regards with the outfit you are going to wear. Let’s take the example of a glamorous night out, but you’re not really in the mood for an elaborate outfit. What do you do? You take your little black dress and throw on a stunning pair of long and dangling earrings. It’s a no brainer.

Also, there’s a LOT to choose from. There’s studs, hoops, long earrings, there’s feather, metallic, pearl earrings, there’s big, small, colorful or not, sparkling or plain, cheap or expensive and so on. And each and every category has its own spin-offs and variables. There’s a pair for every taste and every woman (or man, I don’t judge).

Look, I’m not crazy, but I’m telling you, there is no other adornment with a better maintenance-impact-price ratio. And on top of this, they’re a great gift idea too.
