I’m Flavia and I’m a jewelholic. I am an addict. An addict to jewelry.

I’m the kind of person you never see without at least 3 pairs of earrings, an ear cuff, 7 bracelets, one or two neck pieces and maybe a watch on. Hell, I might just end up not needing any clothes.

200 Pairs of Earring is a blog started from my passion for any kind of jewelry, whether they’re necklaces, bracelets or (especially) earrings. Even tough I have a “sweet tooth” for all types of jewelry, my fascination tends to focus on earrings, and yes, I am the proud owner of approximately 200 pairs (well, to be honest a little more over, since my collection seems to be growing as we speak). Apparently my craving for earrings never stops. And the “best” part is there’s no discrimination, I love a good old pair of simple studs, I love a dangling pair of ridiculously long earrings, I am absolutely obsessed with ear jackets, I even like ear cuffs. If it’s even a little bit curious or strange looking, I’ll take it. The odder, the better.

The idea of a blog started growing one day when, out of pure curiosity, I started counting my earrings while organizing them. I’ll admit I lost count when I passed 200, but I figured 200 sounds good enough. Anyway, the true motivation came when I found myself shopping for more the very next day. That’s when I realized I might be a little obsessed. But, hey, they say the first step to recovery is accepting you have a problem. Therefore, I decided to step out of denial and…well, probably keep doing the same thing, only now with the addition of writing about it as well.

This being said, 200 Pairs of Earrings is, from now on, the place I share my enthusiasm for jewelry, new trends, manufacturers and maybe simply thoughts that go through my jewelry enthusiastic mind.
